Medone Medical would like to welcome Dr Andrew Rushton!

Andrew is an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated General Practitioner who prides himself on delivering high standards of care and health education. 

Andrew studied medicine in England and graduated from The University of Manchester in 2009, and went on to complete his Specialist GP training with the Royal College of General Practitioners. 

Andrew has undergone further training in HIV management and is an s100 prescriber for HIV antiretroviral therapy, sexual health, minor surgery and mental health. 

Interests Include: 

• Chronic disease management: internal medicine 
• Men’s health
• Women’s health including Implanon insertion, removal IUD removal and cervical screening
• Paediatric Care and Vaccinations
• Mental Health
• LGBTQI+ Health
• Sexual Health including; PrEP Prescribing, HIV management and monitoring
• Minor surgery including skin checks and lesion removal
